Newest Trend on Champions Tour – Interchangeable Shafts
The USGA’s new ruling allows golf drivers with interchangeable shafts for PGA Tour play in 2008. As anticipated, Champions Tour players started putting these configurable drivers into play.

At the Allianz Championship in Boca Raton, FL, several Champions Tour players were hitting with the Alpha C830.4 Plasma driver with M-Fit Moveable Shaft Technology.

Waiting for a club to be custom-built is now a thing of the past. The Alpha C830.4 Plasma driver gives players the flexibility and ease of trying multiple shafts and then instantly taking the optimal combination for on-the-course play. The M-Fit Moveable Shaft technology uses the highest-grade Titanium for a robust shaft sleeve that pairs any shaft with the C830.4 Plasma driver head.

The Alpha C830.4 Plasma driver not only allows for endless configurations with shafts, it combines this revolutionary way of club-fitting with Alpha’s award-winning driver technology. “I could only hit straight shots with this driver!” says Jack Ferenz, PGA Champions Tour player. “The interchangeable shaft feature plus the amazing forgiveness of the C830.4 Plasma make this a truly unique club.”
