Jay Haas Captures Second Senior PGA Championship in Three Years Trusting Titleist from Tee-to-Green

Fairhaven, MA (May 26, 2008) – With a belief in himself and trust in his equipment, Titleist ambassador Jay Haas captured his second Senior PGA Championship in three years. Battling world-class challengers and an unyielding golf course at Oak Hill, Haas relied upon his Pro V1 golf ball, new AP2 irons and a full bag of Titleist equipment to earn his 11th career Champions Tour crown.
In fact, Jay topped a leaderboard that included four Titleist golf ball players among the top five finishers. He also became the 12th straight Titleist golf ball player to win on the 2008 Champions Tour. Proving yet again, that at the highest levels of the game, when performance matters most, more champions trust Titleist.

CHAMPIONS: Haas finished at 7-over 287, one shot clear of fellow Pro V1 player Bernhard Langer. Three players tied for third at 289, including Scott Hoch (Pro V1x) and Joey Sindelar (Pro V1).

Titleist was the most played golf ball at the Senior PGA Championship with 106 players, more than five times the nearest competitor with 19. In addition, Titleist was first in irons sets (36) and wedges (89).
