TaylorMade Introduces Rossa Core Classics

New Putter Line Unites Time-Honored Head Shapes with AGSI+ Face Insert Technology at a Great Price

CARLSBAD, Calif. (August 27, 2008) -TaylorMade® Golf has introduced a new putter line aimed firmly at golfers who want a great product at a great value. Called Rossa® Core Classics, the line consists of four classic, time-honored clubhead shapes two blades (the Daytona and the Lambeau) and two mallets (the Fontana and the Suzuka). Each features a soft stainless steel head construction, finished in Tuscan nickel and equipped with a new, softer-feeling AGSI®+ face insert that delivers a 50% softer feel at impact than previous Rossa putters with AGSI+.

"Rossa Core Classics deliver an extremely soft, pleasing feel, especially with today's two-piece balls," said Bret Wahl, TaylorMade's senior director of iron and putter creation. "Combine that with the proven effectiveness of AGSI+ technology, which negates backspin and promotes forwardspin for a smoother roll off the putterface, and the pleasing head shapes, and you've got four exceptional putters."

Rossa Core Classic putters are equipped with Rossa's new "big bird" black tour grip that prominently displays the new Rossa logo. All models are available in right-handed; Daytona is available in left-handed. The manufacturer's suggested retail price for each Core Classic putter is $142, and they become available at retail starting on September 29, 2008.
