Bill Haas plays the perfect $10 000 000 golf shot to help him win the Fedex Cup

It was a classic situation – sink or swim!

The perfect scenerio had been set. A play-off to to decide the play-offs. Either Hunter Mahan or Bill Haas could win the Fedex Cup Play-offs with a win in the Coca Cola Championships. Haas would win by 15 points and Mahan by just 5 points in the season long competition. On offer was $10 000 000 for the winner of the Fedex Cup. On the 17th, the second play-off hole, Haas slightly over-clubbed his second shot from the right-side fairway bunker and his ball finished resting on the edge of the water – half in and half out. Mahan had hit a decent second shot to 15 foot from the hole, so Haas needed a par at least to continue to the next hole. He hit a tournament winning shot, just nipping the ball with perfect spin to sit next the hole and save his par. The shot helped him continue to the Par 3 18th where he won with a par.
