MACEDON, N.Y. – Callaway Golf Company is unveiling three new distance measuring devices at the 2015 PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando Jan. 21-23. Callaway will introduce the GPSync watch, the ECLIPSE GPS and the 300 Laser Rangefinder into the growing golf technology category.

Each of the three devices is equipped with a feature that sets them apart from the competition. The 300 Laser Rangefinder has a built in PAT (Pin Acquisition Technology) mode, which allows golfers to accurately grab the flag from up to 300 yards away. The GPSync and ECLIPSE both display yardages to the front and back of hazards (doglegs, bunkers, water) giving the golfer enough information to layup or go for it.

Callaway’s sleek and stylish GPSync watch can be used both on and off the course. It is pre-loaded with more than 30,000 worldwide courses. The GPSync displays yardage to front, center and back of the green; displays yardages to the front and back of hazards (doglegs, bunkers, water), has shot distance and score keeping features, auto hole advance, 10-12 hour battery life in golf mode, 90+ days battery life in time mode, and the time and date automatically set with satellite fix. It syncs with any Bluetooth enabled device (Apple or Android) and is equipped with text/e-mail/missed call notifications, a pedometer and the ability to upload/save round scores to an app. The GPSync retails for $299.99.

“Our goal from the beginning was to design a GPS watch with the look and feel of both a watch and a golf GPS device that could function well both on and off the course,” said David Witkoski, Vice President Marketing and Product Development for IZZO Golf, an official licensee for Callaway.

Callaway’s ECLIPSE is a unique and versatile wearable GPS device with a clip that attaches to either end of the unit for belt or golf bag attachment. The ECLIPSE comes with more than 30,000 worldwide courses preloaded and displays yardage to the front, center & back of the green; displays yardage (front and back) to hazards (doglegs, bunkers, water); provides shot distance and score keeping features, auto hole advance, 10-12 hour battery life in golf mode, and the time and date automatically syncs with satellite fix. The ECLIPSE retails for $199.99.

“The ECLIPSE’s clip can attach to either end of the GPS unit allowing you to have the correct orientation when viewing the ECLIPSE whether it’s attached to your belt or to your bag,” said Witkoski. “It’s a convenient versatile device.”

Callaway’s 300 Laser Rangefinder is sleek, compact and easy to handle measuring 4.25 inches by 1.75 inches by 1.5 inches.
