CARLSBAD, Calif., Feb 5, 2020 – Callaway Golf (NYSE: ELY), an industry leader in golf equipment innovation, announced today that Andrea Lee has joined its LPGA Tour staff. She will make her professional debut this week with Callaway equipment.
Lee, 21, reached #1 in the women’s world golf amateur rankings and she enjoyed a prolific collegiate career at Stanford University. She received the 2019 McCormack Medal as the leading player in the world amateur golf ranking, and she was a three-time WGCA First Team All-American while at Stanford. She successfully completed LPGA Qualifying School in November 2019, and officially turned professional later that month.
“I am so thrilled to join the Callaway staff as I start my LPGA career,” Lee said. “I played with Callaway clubs as an amateur, and the technology they put into their equipment is absolutely incredible. I can’t wait to work with the Callaway Team to keep my equipment dialed for this year.”
“Andrea is already such an accomplished player, and we’re proud to welcome her to the Callaway Staff,” said Tim Reed, Callaway SVP of Global Sports Marketing. “She’s a proven winner, and we look forward to helping her get the best performance out of her game.”
